Nightmares

The storm is getting worse at night.
It’s hard to fight.
When nightmares come,
I wake undone.
The forest darkens, walls close in.
The shadows win.
Until the day,
I’ve lost the way.
Until I fall asleep again.
The walls close in.
It’s hard to fight
My mind at night.
